That being said, all roasts are worth cooking. I usually remove the meat from neck roast before cooking because I am not a big fan of tallow. If cooked slowly, it can be quite tender and makes great sandwiches. We just ate a great, tender rump roast the other night for dinner. Venison roasts make such a great meal to share; you don't want waste a roast on a bad recipe.
